To set the record straight here people. I just can't take it any more
and I have to say the following:

I feel that it is my duty to supply the missing ingredient that could
stop the worldwide slide into emotionalism. Let me cut to the chase:
Only the impartial and
unimpassioned mind will even consider that I find Jasper Janssen's
practices symptomatic of a dangerous but spreading mentality. He should
be in
better control of his hormones. Why is that relevant to this letter?
Because my dream is for tired eyes to open and see clearly, broken
spirits to find new
energy, and weary arms to find the strength to compare, contrast, and
identify the connections among different types of insane antagonism. The
best advice
I can give to a group is to raise issues, as opposed to guns or knives,
yet that statement can be most easily defended, since it is not
quantitative, but
qualitative. This sort of vertiginous paradox is well known to most
lecherous election-year also-rans.

Jasper's cronies are often caught trying to force us to do things or
take stands against our will. Of course, they deny this, but we all know
full well that Jasper
has a certain fondness for batty repugnant sybarites. Before I continue,
let me state that he knows perfectly well that if a new Dark Age is
about to descend
upon us -- as many believe it will -- it will be the result of his
zingers.

How many of Jasper's lackeys are content to sit around doing absolutely
nothing to contribute to the world around them? I'd hazard to guess that
the
number is pretty high. Did it ever occur to Jasper that his tricks run
on pure irony? Come on, Jasper; I know you're capable of thoughtful
social behavior. In
hearing about his declamations, one gets the distinct impression that I
am fed up with his rabid and crapulous behavior. I could accept,
perhaps, slurs backed
by the forces of logic and powerful reasoning. Quips marked with
hypocrisy and contradiction, however, merit none of my respect. Does
anybody else feel
the way I do, or am I alone in my disgust with Jasper Janssen?

(...) OK, to REALLY set the record straight. That was a joke! Really. Stop with the emails telling me <x>(1) already. I picked Jasper's name from a hat. I just wanted to show off that insult generator that was used on RTL to somewhat comedic effect. (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jan-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
