Re: set instructions wanted —James Brown
(...) Not precisely. It is being renamed. (can't recall what, off-hand) And there wouldn't be such a fuss over "India Red" - but the crayons are called "Indian Red", which makes all the difference over here. To most ------^ Europeans, Indians are (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: set instructions wanted —John Neal
well perhaps they could be renamed "Indiana red", or perhaps India dot red, referring to the red dot Indian women wear on their foreheads (for reasons unknown to me). So what the hell is wrong with calling a crayon after a race, anyway? Would anyone object (...) (26 years ago, 21-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: set instructions wanted —John Neal
(...) Yikes! "Native Americans can't read?!","Niggardly [1]bastards??!" (In honor of tonite) "And the award for the best troll on or in a NG goes to...." If your asbestos undies are still handy, I'd put them on;-) And remember: Stop, Drop, and Roll (...) (26 years ago, 21-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: set instructions wanted —Tim McSweeney
(...) How about "Neck Red"? Tim (26 years ago, 21-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: set instructions wanted —John Neal
If you think crayons ought to be named after races, then you might be a redneck (apologizes to Jeff Foxworthy) (...) (26 years ago, 21-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
