This might be of similar usefulness to you:
http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en
It allows you to set a wide range of search parameters, and you don't
generally need to use quotes.

| Thank you to everyone who replied so far to this thread. I was unaware that placing quotes around a Google search query would turn up such significantly different results. That was beautiful! :) For those who seemed curious, I have quite a list of (...) (22 years ago, 18-Mar-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
