As I mentioned in a previous post, that's exactly what has to happen!
If everyone would get over their unjustified fear that if child knows
about or has an interest in guns that they'll grow up to be some crazy
bank robber and realized that if they just tought them about guns there
wouldn't be so many accidents. You mention having RESPECT for guns. I
personally think that this is probably the reason some kids find Daddy's
gun and end up shooting their siblings/friends with it - they haven't
been properly taught about the EXTREMELY REAL dangers that guns can pose
and after they see them fire - and as you mentioned have a chance to
fire them themselves - they realize what they are dealing with.
All I can say is "here's to Joseph's gun control theory"! - Thanks.

| Well, I understand this whole debate came from the initial posting of gun control. And I agree that controlling guns may not have the desired affect upon gun related crimes, since only law-abiding citizens will register. But lately, it sounds like (...)
