Boy sues (and wins) for NOT being aborted —Larry Pieniazek
Posted with no comment other than "wow", Here's one for the "can it be true? file": (URL) the lead of the article: (...) ++Lar (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Boy sues (and wins) for NOT being aborted —James Simpson
(...) The real tragedy here is that the boy has no hope; his life seems to have been such that he considers death to be the real gift. Who has really failed him? I wouldn't blame the doctors. I wonder if he has been raised to believe that he is a (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Boy sues (and wins) for NOT being aborted —Jon Kozan
(...) Duh! ** BLATENTLY NOT TRUE ** Read the article. The boy didn't bring the suit, his parents did on behalf of the boy (and maybe not even that) What we know from the article is that his parents sued because they could have aborted if they had (...) ("naive") Unfortunately, this is a time-tested liberal tactic, and I can expose it. Liberal tactic #1 - Resort to (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Boy sues (and wins) for NOT being aborted —Bruce Schlickbernd
(...) Kinda like what you just did with that statement, eh? Liberals and conservatives alike will often say whatever they think it will take to "win" the point or at least get the goat of the other guy. Both sides indulge in name-calling and (...)         Re: Boy sues (and wins) for NOT being aborted —Dave Schuler
(...) Well, sort of. A statement of certitude differs from an expression of opinion in that certitude implies fact or truth. Had you said "I think that even though this boy..." it would have expressed your opinion and eliminated any need for (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
