I'd say, where were they when these hypothetical immigrants died? That
is, whose property were they on, and why? Rotting bodies are a form of
pollution and a public nuisance, which isn't allowed. You don't get to
harbor disease vectors, that's negligent.
Your flippant comebacks turn out to be quite amenable to logical
