(well, okay, they idiotically kept it, but they ain’t my political forebearers
since my earliest didn’t come over until after 1860...and...ummmm....died in a
Union civil war POW camp. Oops) :-O
(of course, my wife’s (and therefore my son’s) political forebearers date back
before that, but the logic of her political forebearers clearly didn’t include
advocating slavery, so nyahh, nyahh, nyahh!)
