Reagan obviously did a lot of work in those first few minutes in office to
effect the release of those hostages. Now time for a nap...

I'm not sure I would agree with this. 9/11 gave Bush an extended honeymoon
where he could do no wrong. He's waged two wars and largely ignored the
domestic economy with little harm to his popularity ratings. As an added bonus,
he even got to land on an aircraft carrier. Yee-haw!

Carter has been said to be one of the greatest EX-presidents of all time, a view
that I definitely hold. I think that our other presidents (past, present, and
future) could learn a lot about integrity and honor from Carter, even if he was
relatively ineffective when he held the Office.
