I think that first sentence is an overstatement. Israel does not have clean
hands, nor does the U.S. We are not as bad as some, but we are hardly
innocent any longer. In fact, we (the U.S.) are brazenly guilty of atrocities.
The U.S. operates entirely from self-interest on the international stage.
