What? Would that be like stupid Saudis beleiving all the nonsense their
government/right-wingers tells them? Gee, where else do citizens exhibit
that behavior?
And anyway, unless I am mistaken about the nationality of the more frequent
posters in off-topic.debate -- you are telling "us." And none of us ever
beleived anything but that the majority of terrorists on 9/11 were Saudi
Arabian. I have myself asked in this very forum why Afghanistan and Iraq
somehow took precedence over an obviously more immediate terrorist threat
coming from Saudi Arabia -- both the people and the money come from S.A.
Again, this isn't really partisan -- but Shrub dropped the ball once more.
In my view he has done zero to eliminate terrorism abroad or directed at
Americans. By now even you must have begun to question U.S. and British
involvement in Iraq, in particular. Do you still beleieve all the lies,
even while this adminsitration has so pointedly been caught with its hands
in the cookie jar?
If one of your primary concern is terrorism, and what the U.S. can and
should be doing about it; then we actually have a point of agreement. We
may disagree on how effective Shrub has been in doing anything about it
though. Don't get me started on Shrub's psycho tax proposals or the
"Hummer" write-off for those that can afford one and actually want one (all
the more reason to go to war over oil -- you know, that black gold that
belongs to the Iraqi people, as long as they distribute it as we dictate).
