The gist--idiots were selling supposed fragments from the Columbia on eBay.
Yes I said idiots. Whether they're actual fragments or not, it would take
an idiot to cash in on this tragedy.
Sometimes I wonder about the intelligence of some members of this thing we
call the human race.
Well, (gets on soapbox (as if I hadn't yet...)) you idiots out there who
like this kind of thing, we (as in the rest of humanity) shall progress with
or without you.
Idiots.
Yeah I'm mad. You're darn right I'm mad--these things make me fume--it was
the day after the Challenger tragedy when I almost decked some guy n the
hallway at school who was spouting off NASA/Challenger jokes. The 'better
angels' of my nature stopped me from hitting him but the 'want' was there.
Anyway, I vented, I'm cooler now, and I apologize for my harsh tone.
We'll get there. It'll take much patience and perseverance, but we'll get
there.

As for the media, all they do is cash in on targedies, especially CNN. Misinformation is the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
