I thought 'Sledgehammer' was wicked funny! (I was younger then too, so I'd
like to see it now.) There was another mock police show, but I don't remember
the name-I remember it had a magnifying glass pop up with clues or funny
'info', like one show when mobsters were talking about 'nerds' & they said
"noids" in 'mob' accent, the mag. gl. popped up: "noids: noun: nerds, smart
person, etc." like a dictionary defeniton. there was also a character named
'Alphabet' I don't think it was 'Police Squad', but it could've been

| (...) I used to like Sledge Hammer! a whole heck of a lot. I have one of the videotapes back home. It had some sparkles and some real groans, but it was generally pretty interesting.
