My command of the english language has deteriorated since I left
post-secondary education behind. I used to be able to throw around
'convivality' and other such sesquepedilian words and actually sound
intelligent.
Nowadays, it takes me forever to remember a word like 'polarized' and it
usually shows up in my mind after I post, so I end up saying 'the two sides
of the issue are not moving...', which doesn't sound nearly as good as 'the
two sides of the issue are polarized.'
Oh well--my main reason for reading ot-d is to try and get some usage of
communication back.
So there you are.
