The title of this should be 'Jon trying to change and cleanup what he said"

it was a 'I do not like these, so lets get rid of them' post.
(taken from your first post on this)
"These Avatar images (etc..) seem to pertain to a website called
BionicleZone. Could the creators of these images please keep these where
they belong and off BrickShelf."

Is this really a problem? Just because you do not like them that makes it a
problem for everybody?

I was unaware there was a problem with the same image being posted over and
over again. And I missed what Chris said about the edit feature. Would
somebody bring me up to speed?

Exactly, but it seems that you would like some type of compartmentalized
content. This would allow you not to be forced to look at what you do not
like, and that was the point of your thread - not having to look at what you
do not like. And there is *nothing* wrong with this, if this works for you
then that is a good thing. But what I disagreed with was you were trying to
keep it from *everybody* becase you di dnot like them.

yes, but what you said was this:
(taken from your first post about this)
"I'm not complaining about the photos of Bionicle Mocs. These constantly
flood the recent updates as well but at least they pertain more to Lego and
building."
But then you went and said this in the very same post:
"I realize that Bionicle is just a fad and these images will probably
dissapear in 4 months (at least until the new wave comes out) but I can't
wait that long."

It went more like this:
(taken from your first post about this)
"I'm very tired of checking out the BrickShelf recent updates page to see it
flooded with these annoying pixelated images. I think this is just as bad as
people using BrickShelf to upload pictures for Ebay."
> This is my opinion. I never said it was anything more.
You did call for a change in the brickshelf TOS, so I would consider that as
"more".

So confirm to me what the main issue was..... If you were just tired of
looking at the images then why call for a change in the TOS? Why would you
try to keep all of these images off of brickshelf?

Look Jon (and Jeff and Timmy), bottom line is this: There is *nothing* wrong
with you not liking these avatars, I can understand why you do not like
them. And it is your right not to like them. But there are people who like
them. And for you to try to keep them from *everybody* is wrong. And like it
or not it is as simple as just ignoring them and hitting 'next page' on
brickshelf. I understand this can be annoying on a slow connection (I have
one myself) but this is simply what you have to do. I personally do not like
mecha mocs but do you see me trying to ban them from brickshelf? No, you do
not - I deal with it, like you should be adult enough to do. When I see the
recent page "flooded" with stuff I do not care for I hit 'next page' because
that is what you do. Like it or not the bionicle avatars are lego related,
you may not see the connection, but it is there. I feel any lego image (as
long as it is approite for the veiwing of children) has a place on
brickshelf. And that means even if you do not care for the nature of the
image, as long as it is age approiate then it has a place on brickshelf.
And for you to call for a ban (aka a change in the TOS) smply because you do
not like them and do not see the point is wrong, no matter how you spin it.
Nude women do not have a place on brickshelf, that is a very good example of
what should not be allowed and should be banned, because children would se
it. Agree?
