Add Turkey to this list. Once we had a female prime minister. Was it

Maybe the subject of a much more interesting discussion is:

What would the world be like if real human beings (that is human beings
who did not behave like greedy animals) were the major leaders
(presidents, prime ministers, etc.)? Better, worse, same?

There's a website with a list of all the female national leaders this past
century (I think I typed in "female world leaders" on yahoo).

The trouble is that in both the cases of women or "real human beings" we are
talking about individuals.  Put a real human being in charge of Iraq -
wouldn't last because there's an entrenched system.  Rwanda's first female
Prime Minister, Agathe Uwinlingiyimana, is a case in point (assassinated,
followed by the Hutu/Tutsi genocidal war).  You have to root out the whole
nest of greedy animals.

An individual can make a difference, but it ain't easy.  And of course,
starting off as a non-greedy non-animal and staying that way is another
problem (power corrupts).  It would probably help to remove all tyrants,
dictators-for-life, Kings, Queens, People's Revolutionary Leaders With Real
Big Guns, Generals, Fanatic Theocracies, etc.

We could put 'em all on an island and have a third season of Survivor, where
the loser dies!  I'd actually watch that one (Oooooooo, Saddam, ya shouldn't
have stepped on that lethal trap....pass the popcorn).
