Re: Who had the 5571 Inventory?

(...) IMO we (...) exceptions, of (...) dollar (...) Err - I don't think that's quite relevant to the question of free markets. Yes it's frustrating that TLG won't offer bulk and won't rerelease old sets etc. But that doesn't stop it from being a (...) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Who had the 5571 Inventory?

Unless of course Lego rereleases it due to popular demand from lugnet ... :) You realise of course that your mentioning the set made me go and look it up on lugnet. Which made me think 'wow - that is a cool set - I want it'. Which will of course (...) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

d'Oh! So, what you saying is that I will never be able to get my 7740 (pout)? I better start saving now. Chris (...) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Ninja Figs - Reverse Auction

Why do I have to be RFC compliant? Some harvester may very well visit here and I'd rather not make it easy for it. If people want to reach me, it's easy enough. (...) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) I am guilty of the above. I finished it. But your right, the series did go progressively downhill. I do believe I saw a new book in the series. A couple of months ago, I saw a new one at a mall bookstore. I glanced at it briefly, and thought I (...) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Who had the 5571 Inventory?

(...) I dunno. Call me crazy, but I think the prices on things like the Metroliner would go ***UP*** (not down) if LEGO made more "good sets." The more "good sets" there are in a theme, the more people want to collect that theme. The more people (...) (26 years ago, 26-Mar-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Carryon vs. checked (Re: WTB: 6557 (really, really badly) and 6861

(...) Did you like the series at the end? I haven't met anyone who's finished Plains of Passage (is that the right name?) since it was the final (hopefully) step of the descent into trashy romance novels. I _really_ like Clan of the Cave Bear, and (...) (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Carryon vs. checked (Re: WTB: 6557 (really, really badly) and 6861

(...) That reminds me, does anyone know if she(1) is ever going to finish the Clan of the Cave Bear series? What's it been, nine years since the last book was published? Jeff (1) You *do* mean Jean Auel, right? (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Ninja Figs - Reverse Auction

(...) Spamblock. Non-RFC compliant. Bad. Nuff said. Especially in Lugnet. Jasper (26 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
