  Re: Heads up, atheists

(...) -snip- (...) I agree with Dave completely. Another key weakness of his opinion is that he ignores whether atheists could actively support religious charities for non-religious purposes. Although I am an agnostic, I regularly donate to Heifer (...) (19 years ago, 18-Sep-05, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

  Re: Heads up, atheists

(...) Well, it's an opinion piece, so we can only dispute the opinion as given. I gather that Hattersly considers himself a nonbeliever, but his beliefs are irrelevant to the validity of his argument, of course. Regardless, here are a few notes: (...)   Re: LEGO moving production; will we keep buying?

(...) This seems like something of an overreaction to me. If Lego continues to have its humanitarian commitments in place then they will only source from reputable manufacturers within China anyway.   LEGO moving production; will we keep buying?

One of the main reasons I have always been enamored with LEGO bricks is that they are European. I've always been fascinated with being able to build with bricks crafted in Denmark and Switzerland. I can handle production moving to the Czech (...) (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Question about job security

Why hasn't Dubya fired Michael Brown? Why hasn't Dubya fired Michael Chertoff? While he's been President, has Dubya ever fired anyone? While he's been President, has Dubya ever fired anyone for anything other than a perceived lack of loyalty? (19 years ago, 7-Sep-05, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
