  Re: TLG and "Seeding"

In lugnet.general, David Zorn writes a worthy exposition of things clone related. As Dave Shuler commented (see other also worthy reply) its a trade-off - for less money I can do more stuff I enjoy. I'm sold. I can't speak to clones other than (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: TLG and "Seeding"

(...) I must disagree with you here... though I don't use clone brands currently, the highest quality clones I've seen date back to the 80s... I received a bucket of Tyco Superblocks as a birthday present when I was a kid. The quality of those (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: TLG and "Seeding"

(...) You're telling me that you can use a 16x8x8 western-style shack in your space model? You're crazy! And that huge octagonal dome can be used in all sorts of huge octagonal dome structures! (...) This is generally true, but the same can be said (...) (24 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: TLG and "Seeding"

I've rearranged some of the remarks by Dave and James to separate the topics that they cover. I've tried to preserve context and not misrepresent their positions.   Re: Exceedingly Rare Baseplates?

This morning I received an email from "Melody S. Denkins" seeking instructions for an old MegaBloks Dinosaur set. Her subject line referred to this thread, but I don't recall seeing her name anywhere on Lugnet. If I have a spare set of instructions (...)   Re: MB White House - not produced anywhere

(...) It's not the White House, but I've seen a new ProBuilder motorcycle on the shelves locally for $9.99 US. It looks fairly well-designed, but it's not really my field of interest. Sorry I don't have more info re: piece count. Dave! (24 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: MB White House - not produced anywhere

Re: MB White House - not produced anywhere

Unusual tires found in LEGO lot

I just received a lot of old LEGO and it has some interesting tires. The tires all appear to fit the 2x2 hubs (both the old style with the metal pin axle and the new styles like the Adventurers wheel). The tires are solid hard rubber, and have no (...)   Re: MB White House - not produced anywhere

Hey hey, I got a response to my MB query on the White House. Like Kerry, I got 'not produced', which didn't actually answer my question 'when in Australia' - pity. I have asked again. Not a good sign.... Richard Still baldly going... (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: MB White House - not produced anywhere

(...) Indeed, at night under artificial light, I have difficulty distinguishing between these MB navy blue bricks and black bricks (Lego or MB). However, no problem in daylight. Kerry (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: MB White House - not produced anywhere

Re: MB White House - not produced anywhere

(...) Count yourself blessed to have scored a reply - I sent in three before I gave up. Who do these guys think they are?   MB White House - not produced anywhere

Having seen a White House model in the MegaBloks Pro-Builder catalogue in one of the sets I recently purchased, I sent an e-mail to MB asking about its availability in Australia.   Has anyone seen this?

(URL) not my auction, and I don't know the seller. I've never heard of this product before, and I have no idea of how "Lego like" it really is. Does anyone know anything about it? Dave! (24 years ago, 7-Feb-01, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Quality of Clone Parts
