Anyone knows what they are?  Are they only available in Japan?

Wow!  I have no idea what they are, but there are plenty of stores in Boston
that carry Japanese toys, so maybe they'll crop up in one of them eventually.

That said, I got all excited for a second because it seemed like the parts were
all almost direct clones of LEGO bricks, but then I noticed the highly
specialised arm and leg pieces, and other joints.  It looks like you build a
fairly generic structure for the limbs, and then the rest is all decorating
that... an interesting system, especially if the company is focused on making
mecha kits.

It's in Japanese: (URL) knows what they are? Are they only available in Japan? This site is worth browsing around for any mecha fans: (URL) got lots of good quality photos of the newest Japanese mecha toys and models for inspiration. ;) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.build.mecha)
