Taken from an old 1988 christmas catalog I dug from my parents' basement. The catalog is from a defunct canadian company (Distribution aux Consommateurs). Big, basic baby blocks. (URL) came out yesterday. From the pictures they look like a cross between Kubrick and Belville styled figs, at least joint wise. MB has an Ultraman license in Japan as well (I ordered a couple of those, too), and their Power Ranger sets are onto the next theme over (...) Even weirder is that X-Blocks has Marvel's license for Spiderman, and the Spiderman X-Blocks hit the shelves at TRU just when Lego's did. I just spotted a new (to me) brand of clone brick at TRU called X-Blocks. I’ve never heard of it before, but this particular set is a licensing of the movie The Hulk, and it’s apparently called the Hulk Destructor Construction System. The set is (...)
