  Re: New Dragons Set!

(...) I already tried the website. Mega Bloks does not update very regularly. Thanks anyway though. -Mike Petrucelli (22 years ago, 15-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: New Dragons Set!

(...) Unfortunately, no - it was a gift! I went to the Megabloks website to look for it, but the version of flash they use is newer than what is available for Linux, so I can't go looking. (22 years ago, 15-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Review of Oxford set OCM 15000

This is the tank model recently available though a Hong Kong-based seller on Ebay. The kit is, in a word, fantastic. I would say categorically that if this brand were widely available in the US, and if it had any name recognition, it would easily (...) (22 years ago, 15-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Still fiddling with HES Sirius

(...) Mmmmm. Tried a bunch of different ways. Next best is to dangle them below a docking arm, underneath the ship, which is cool, but means the ship can't land. I'm not really attached to landing per se, but since the ship has to sit around on a (...) (22 years ago, 15-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Still fiddling with HES Sirius

(...) Too cool! Took a look at it, and I was intrigued. Really neat design, kind of reminds me of those science fiction ships from star trek and what not. Anyway, hope to see more like this. <<_Matt Hein_>> Fellow lego enthusiast (22 years ago, 14-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Still fiddling with HES Sirius

(...) Dude, that's pretty sweet! The starfurries look good, but I agree that there should be some form of inclosed docking arm for the pilots. But given the size of the Sirius relative to the fighters, that may not be possible. Love the (...) (22 years ago, 14-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: New Dragons Set!

(...) My sons and I are devotees of the Dragons line, as well as keen chess players (as opposed to good chess players). Not only does this set make a great chess set, but the playability looks high as well. Can't wait to see it out here in the (...) (22 years ago, 14-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Still fiddling with HES Sirius

Can't help myself. Bad habits. :-) (URL) with extra Starfuries, bigger engines, and an energy shotgun that will make your enemies' eyes pop (just before their heads explode). Might have gone just about as far as I can with this hull now. I hope to (...) (22 years ago, 14-Sep-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.space, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  New Dragons Set!

There is a new Megabloks Dragons set! Including a new dragon. This set builds a chess set from the figures, horses, castle elements, etc. It includes six of the large base pieces, and a bunch of other stuff. One of the neatest things about it is (...)   Re: Another clone calculator?

(...) Thanks for sharing, Dave! It looks as it's compatible with The Leading Brand, but the studs could be too large(?) But hey, look at how the buttons are placed. I wouldn't even call it "not user-friendly", rather user-hostile! /Tore (22 years ago, 11-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Cool looking clone on Ebay

(...) Yeah, I don't know about those prices without knowing more about the quality. Plus the shipping from Hong Kong or whatever is going to just suck. I have the feeling we may see these sets somewhere in the Americas before too much longer. -- (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Cool looking clone on Ebay

(...) (URL) It appears that the seller has saturated the market! Anyone who's interested should probably wait a few weeks to see if he re-lists any of the sets for considerably less $$. I have the Tank and the Police Copter on the way, and I'll give (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Another clone calculator?

(URL) anyone ever seen one of these? I own the larger Tyco calculator, but I've never come across this version. The tagline says "Lego like," so I assume it's not "real" Lego. Dave! (22 years ago, 9-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Moonbase Connector (Purists beware!)

(...) Yes indeed! I've had this part sitting around for a few days and wanted to share, but the rest will follow before too long. Dave! (22 years ago, 7-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Moonbase Connector (Purists beware!)

(...) Very nice. I am experiencing brick lust for the clone elements I don't yet have in my collection. -- Hop-Frog (22 years ago, 7-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Moonbase Connector (Purists beware!)

It's simple, but utilitarian: (URL) envision it as an entryway to a module specializing in the research of alien technologies, perhaps. More to follow... Dave! (22 years ago, 7-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.space)

Re: Elgo set (not Lego) for sale

The alien bricks appear to be "Block City" from about the same era as Skyline and the same maker. (...) (22 years ago, 6-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
