(...) I agree with Aaron. These will draw a lot of my Lego money away. I bought a couple of the Battle Chests (9861 Bronze Knights & 9862 Silver Knights) and a 9871 Dragon Slayer this week. I got a couple of the random Battle Chests so I could see if I like this stuff or if I can work around it with my LEGO. The shields and weapons work fine. The heads, legs and torsos of the warriors work well with LEGO. The bricks are interesting, (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

I was going to take a couple of shots and stick them on my web site as suggested by Pedro (thanks), but having seen Clark's site I feel there is no longer any need. The stuff I have is clearly CA and the logo in particular looks just like the (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Simon, What you have is Lego made from Cellulose Acetate (or CA). That is a kind of plastic that Lego used until 1963. After that, they switched to ABS still in use today. The descriptions you use are classic CA. The color is lighter. It warps (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Erik really gave us the goods in his last review of these new "Dragons" items. All of his observations are very thoroughly thought out and dead-on target.
