I admit I haven't been following Best-Lock at all, but isn't this insanely close to copyright violation for the "likeness" of the minifig? Have their figs always been so (...)   Cobi/Best-Lock

Some of you may have noticed the semi-recent appearance of the brand Cobi/Best-Lock on shelves at nearby stores. Toys R Us is, so far, the largest carrier of the brand in the US, though at least one set has appeared at KB Toys, and an arm of the (...)   Re: Gundam Mega Bloks questionnaire

(...) Thanks for the news, Jeff! I'm still lamenting the fact that we can't readily get these sets in the US, but it's greatly encouraging to see a discussion of future plans for the licensed product line. I don't make a habit of perusing Gundam (...) (20 years ago, 29-Dec-06, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: New TLC standard for containers?

Re: New TLC standard for containers?

(...) I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote 3:2. I meant that 6:10 is just off the golden ratio of 6:9.7... Though I was confused there, you make the case that the aspect ratio is actually a pleasant one, as opposed to your initial (...) (20 years ago, 23-Dec-06, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, FTX)

  Re: Peeron Firefox Extension (beta)

(...) There's a version 0.8? I can only find 0.6. BTW, FF 2.0 is out now, and it says the plugin is incompatible - I'm guessing it's just a version number change or something. ROSCO (20 years ago, 21-Dec-06, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
