Hows the Disney Cars license working out for the pioneering brand, by the
way? ;D
|
Well, its like we are comparing DUPLO to oranges. Thomas and Cars were/are
Duplo licenses.
|
I admit thats a fair distinction, but in that case it must be granted that the
Cars and Thomas license were/are maxi-scale Mega Bloks licenses. Although the
systems are compatible and both belong to Mega Brands, theyre separate from
micro-scale in much the same way that LEGO System is distinct from DUPLO.
For that matter, is it still called System? Ive been out of the loop for a
while.

If you really want to talk about successful licensing, Ill offer up the
Lucasfilm one for comparison any time..... >:-D
|
LOL! Well, I wasnt disputing the success of the license, merely the fact
that in at least two cases the clone beat the original to the punch.
And seeing how sprawling and goofy the Star Wars license has grown over in
recent years, Im happy to favor the Halo license over the current crop of
Lucas-love.
