I had to look up the word 'sop' but no I don't think that's what it is. I'm
pretty sure it's just the work of some marketing guy. :)

And to clarify (whilst agreeing with you) I didn't mean to suggest that
selling/discussing ideas or concepts was in any way a bad thing... for adults.
I just don't get the feeling that kids care. Who cares what Bionicles
represent? They are fun to build and pose. And so on...
