Re: Lego attempts to rebuild global image.

(...) The article does say .. "and high-tech toys." I wonder if that means Mindstorms or Mybot. I cannot imagine them turning their backs on Mindstorms at this point, although the highly inferior products like Droid Developer obviously were not a (...)   Re: Lego attempts to rebuild global image.

(...) It makes me wonder if they're planning on throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Some of their 'forays' outside of their 'core product' have been wonderful - like Mindstorms. Or worse, maybe they'll throw out the baby, and keep the (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jan-02, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.lego)

Lego attempts to rebuild global image.

TLC is apparently re-organising its marketing, involving centralizing it in Slough (ooh, you lucky people!) - I think there's a long lag between the cause (the year 2000 loss) and the effect here though.   Re: LEGO on Weakest Link (Australia)

(...) This is not the only time it's been mentioned on that program. I think we could have a Lego fan amongst the people who deal with the questions :P Either that or maybe has a thing where they pay to have their name mentioned, this way they could (...)   LEGO on Weakest Link (Australia)

LEGO tops poll in Atlanta Journal online poll (so far)

  LEGO mentioned in Transmetropolitan

DC Comics' Transmetropolitan #38 mentions LEGO on page 3. In the bottom left panel, Spider asks "Where'd you get that gun? LEGO?"   LEGO on Friends

Just a quick note to mention that I saw LEGO Bionicle on Friends on Thursday night. On the microwave on the kitchen bar, there was a super Toa. It was in at least two or three shots. Jake --- Jake McKee AFOL LUGNET Member #211 (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.mediawatch)
