Ebay's volume can't be beat. But allowing for extra choice would be a
step in the right direction.


Hmm, can chose to end an auction at any time? You could set an ending date
way out, and indicate in the description, that you will do a G1/G2/SOLD
progression when the latest bid has been in place at least X time. You just
ammend the description (you can do that can't you?) each time the bidding
advances.

I think eBay only allows auctions to run for a maximum of 7 days.
