I was looking particularly at this MOC auction

This seems to have gotten a higher price than selling the 2 6274 kits (that
would have been consumed to make it) individually. And he still has a pirate
ship bow and stern left over to auction separately.
It was just that I had 2 6274s (or more accurately 1.99 of them)
I also have a spare pirate pieces which I could sell individually or try to
constuct into the MOC
It seems interesting that it looks as if an incomplete pirate set sold as a
whole can go for less than if broken into parts and the interesting ones
like hull, masts etc, sold individually.
