(...) That's a valid approach. It MAY get you better returns, but is more work. There *is* a market for custom models (GoB does quite well) and the pirate area is underserved currently, so try it first. If you don't get the prices you want, then go (...) Noticed some custom models that have done well on ebay. Some are almost packaged as custom sets with instructions. - like the Milton Trains Some extend an existing model - like a 3 masted 6274 pirate ship I saw. The latter seems to be a way of (...)
