I sold 4 custom pirate (well, Armada really) ships, ready built and without
instructions. It took rather longer for them to sell than I had hoped -
perhaps because they were Armada rather than pirate - and IMO it would have
been easier and quicker to sell the parts. Financially the return would have
been about the same. The major problem with a ship MOC is shipping it: the
first 2 I shipped (*very* well padded and packed) the hulls fell apart in
transit (I had of course packed the masts and accessories separately
anyway). The second 2 I wrapped the hulls completely in narrow bands of
Saran wrap and that held everything together.
