| | | Hi all ! I've been told that there are actually two ways to wire the money from US to Europe . One is called "Swift" - it is fast (5-10 days) but expensive (around 20 $ for 200 $) , another one is "normal" it goes through post and it takes about 2-3 (...) | | | | | I just wired money to Japan. The wire transfer required the Swift number of the bank I was sending the money to. | | | | I was accepting personal checks (as payment for Lego) for some time but my bank was making problems when the amount was higher and they keep asking me - why don't people wire money to you - it's free ??? I suspect part of what is going on is that the US banks can afford to be US-Centric, and may also be in a poor position to do some things because of (...)
