Re: Kmart (US) to buy Sears

(...) The SEARS here (Frisco, TX USA) has quite a few LEGO sets on the shelves. K-Mart closed all of their stores in the Dallas, TX area when they had problems a while ago. Eric (22 years ago, 17-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Kmart (US) to buy Sears

K-Mart sells LEGO toys, Sears is not known for selling toys in the US (other than during the Holidays, and then I have only seen MBs). I wonder how this will affect the LEGO offerrings. (URL) (22 years ago, 17-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.theory)

  Canadian Pick-a-Brick cost analysis

G'day folks, Since I was hard up for a good time, I analyzed the cost-effectiveness (or lack of it) for my first PaB encounter (in Ontario, Canada). I bought 1 small bag and 2 large bags. I filled all with a mixture of bricks, plates, and fences. (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.loc.ca)

Anatomy of a Shop At Home group order

A few days ago, in this thread: (URL) mentioned the large group order that we (my co-workers & I) do every year about this time. This was our third annual and largest order yet.   Re: Creator Set has 500 extra pieces in dazzling colors...

Re: Tough times in Toytown force LEGO® to rebuild

(...) I would guess video games. It's fairly easy to keep kids away from them before they start school, but once they do and hear of the games other kids are playing it becomes quite difficult. Maggie C. (22 years ago, 5-Sep-04, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Tough times in Toytown force LEGO® to rebuild

(...) Am I the only one who was shocked to read this? A quick perusal of LEGO catalogs from 1984--1994 shows clearly that TLG's core market was boys aged 6--12. What happened in the past ten years that shrunk TLC's core market by 29% and skewed it (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-04, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.market.theory)

  Re: Authorized Lego retailers
