I think the clearance-scavenger bottom-feeder behavior is part of why Lego
does not consider us a real market segment (other than there being very few
of us compared to families with children.)
It's also that I'd rather save my money than buy even Harry Potter or other
halfway-decent themes out now. As for giving them a chance, I've played with
them at other people's houses and seen enough. I did buy Jack Stone on
clearance - out of curiosity.
On the food chain: the pet stores sell white mice in bulk, don't they?
