The motor would be sufficient to build small self propelled vehicles (if you mounted a battery box somewhere) but for regular monorails you also need the 4 wide platforms (with a bogie/truck at the far end) that attach to the motor. My apologies, but what I meant was: Is he requesting special orders from Lego? Is Lego re-running old or discontinued sets for him? Get a large enough order, and it lowers it, but not much. I ordered L190 worth of stuff, and shipping was approx L60 (which is why I'll be Ebaying some of the stuff, to pay off some of the sets and the horrendous shipping (which certainly isn't BBs (...)
