Discounts on Lego sets are great, but all of you keep talking about the same
sets over and over again. Obviously that is all that there is going to be.
We can not ask for more. For the simple reason that there are no more. This
is it. If you really want the set then buy it now and stop holding out. The
train set is still a good buy at $99.99 or $90.90. If you want it then get
it if you don't want it or are to scared to buy it because it may gone on
sale then buy it. Don't open it, and then if it goes on sale lower then you
bought it at. Then return the unopened one, at the higher price and you get
your money back.

Your tip for buying the train set is a useful one-- in fact it has already been
suggested.  There are lots of subtle considerations to be made when LEGO
shopping.  Some of us have developed it to an art, and we like to share our
findings with others.  Regarding 4561, Mike W. has mentioned it has gone on
clearance at Target three years running.  Many of us have purchased it for
$32.44 in the past (or for $37.50 last summer at Toy Liquidators).  This is why
we hem and haw at $90 or even $65.  And had John F. been following .shopping
and known the history, he could have avoided paying top dollar for a separate
regulator. Many of us are sitting on stacks of extra regulators. (Also our
layouts are curvier than we'd like.)

Man you sound like a bunch a babies. Let me call 911 and get the wambulence
on stand by.

That is just my opinion I could be wrong.

Being merely an opinion, it cannot be wrong.  By the same token the opinions of
others, should they disagree with you, are also not wrong.

Matt and Richard have already given you good reasons why they find these
sometimes excruciatingly detailed posts useful.  In addition, I like to read
the most mundane of them, especially from East Coasters, because often by the
time I wake up and get online, they are already back from the stores with their
shopping reports.  What they write can save me a twenty mile round trip to
town.

I'll reiterate what's been said-- if you don't like it, don't read it.

I do not dance, I do not hop,
When I don't write drivel, I shop til I drop!
(Sorry, couldn't resist!)
