Personally, I'm dying to see the size of the initial shipment to major
retailers. Did they gamble high, or low-ball it? Insectoids, a non-licensed
theme, got a pretty healthy rollout at TRU last spring.
On the plus side: even if they low-balled it, Lego knows from advance orders
what the demand is like. This leaves time to ramp up for the holidays.
Waiting and waiting.....

| They might not WANT to give them too much shelf space, as the shelves will be empty most of the time. They'd be better doing an endcap or 3, stacking them deep and high, and refilling often. Bare shelves sell less than well-stocked ones (not meaning (...) (26 years ago, 20-Feb-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)
