I hadn't seen any announcements to this effect on the groups,
so here it is: as near as I can tell, the retail chain of Caldors
(New England area) is either going completely out of business or
closing all of their stores in the Boston area.  All toys are 30%
off, but I found few LEGO sets in the ones I checked.  I believe
the Stoneham store had some Arachnoid Star Bases.

This actually is a blow to me, not really because it's a great
LEGO store, but because it was the only chain I ever found that
carries 1-gallon jugs of Arizona Ginseng Iced Tea (my drink of
choice).  *sigh*  Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Anyway, hopefully some other folks can actually find some good
deals at Caldors that haven't been picked clean...

Hi, I think Caldors was in Chapter 11 a couple of years ago, so they may not have made it out. Mark (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.market.shopping)
