Bulk Brick sales at LEGOLAND —David Schilling
I wanted to post this a long time ago already, but wasn't able to upload the pictures ... until now. There have been a few people who've mentioned it, but bulk bricks are available to be bought at LEGOLAND California. They are being sold in front of (...)      (...) Hmm. How does this price compare to the S@H price? I have no idea how many tiles are in 1/4 lb... J (23 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.theory)

Re: Bulk Brick sales at LEGOLAND —Charles Eric McCarthy
(...) I counted them. I think you get about 230, so it compares very favorably to the S@H price. However, the quality is not as good, since they are mixing around in the big bin as well as on the scale before they scrape them into the bag. /Eric (...)      (...) I'm curious about this too. Was the "gift package" set available by phone? And if so, would it be the same number to call? I'm in dire need of lots of 2x4 brown bricks. (Well, more dire need than my general ABS jones, anyways.) Arrrr. Another (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.theory)

(...) I can't answer this question - anybody know? I'd like a quarter ton of bricks sent to me too! Much better than having to lug it home on an airplane! (...)          Re: Bulk Brick sales at LEGOLAND —Ray Sanders
(...) Ok, this got my curiosity: how many 2x4s are there in a pound ? I took a tub of red 2x4s and measured them onto one of my scales (better than 1/10 oz accuracy). It took 101 2x4 bricks to make 8 oz. So Legoland is selling them for approx (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.theory)

However I assume the price difference is for two reasons. First of all in the space (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.theory)
