Re: New S@H Catalog - Pictures —Tom Stangl
Un-frigging believable! The minifig doesn't have the 6005 arches for hands like the prototype does. Well, forget buying THAT ugly thing - the prototype looked really good - the final product SUCKS. (...) -- Tom Stangl ***(URL) Visual FAQ home (...)       The "maxi-figs" you see in the picture are borrowed display models from the LEGO Outlet store. They are not built out of LEGO bricks at all, they're just very large mini-figs and work (joint wise)in the same way. Unforunatly the "maxi-figs" arent' (...)         Re: New S@H Catalog - Pictures —Doug Dropeskey
You can probably build one of those things (or a close equivalent) with a few tubs at a third the cost. I would have considered buying something like the prototype, with lots of slopes, but I can't see any reason to buy the production model. I feel (...)          Re: New S@H Catalog - Pictures —James J. Trobaugh
I agree, for $150 you can buy close to 7 basic 1200 blue tubs and build a few of these things. I would have been much more intersted if they had kept the slopes and arches in the set. jt (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.general)
