  Tuesday Morning wash-out

Last fall the close-out chain Tuesday Morning had a bunch of stuff on sale, some at good prices, some at MRSP. I myself found a bunch of small Imperial Armada sets, some Exploriens, and some other things, as did other people. So when their flyer (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I agree. I went to three Tuesday Mornings yesterday and each store had nothing. I asked the clerk and she said that they only get Legos around the Christmas season. So save your money and time until the end of September when they have another (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Tuesday Morning wash-out

Well, here it is 28 September, and I've checked out my local Tuesday Morning clearance-type store at their fall season reopening. This seems to represent the merchandise that they will have through Christmas. Apparently, whatever source provided (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Yes, I've noticed it here in western Ohio, too, but some I think is simply seasonal re-arrangement that they do. In my area Wal-Marts, the LEGO seems to move around the toy section about twice a year, like now, in the pre-Christmas run-up. I suspect (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Walmart and Target have both started carrying their own private brands of toys, which seem to emphasize big boxes at low prices. My guess is that they're making room for those. Ran (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Went by TM this afternoon, (NC). They too had Playmobil and MegaBlock, but no LEGO. However, they were still actively putting out new stock. I asked an employee whether or not there was any Lego in the back waiting to be unpacked. He thought (...) (24 years ago, 29-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Thanks for the information. I guess I'll have to check back too. Their flyer announcing the reopening did say that there would be additional items beginning on 29 and 30 Sept., although I thought that it implied that these were only the home (...)
