Dark red 2x2 bricks in PAB —Jonathan Lopes
I was up in my not-so-local Lego Store (Palisades Center Mall) this weekend and was happy to discover dark red 2x2 bricks in the PAB selection. Being that I am only able to get to the store a limited number of times a year I bought a number of cups. (...) (18 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) I hope you are the kind of guy (as I am) who binds the bricks together to put in the cup so as to maximize the piece per brick value... :-) JOHN (18 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

(...) :o) Unfortunately, I don't have the patience to do that. Also, on the rare occasion that I do get to a PAB, it is usually with someone else who is driving. I am kind of on their clock, so to speak. But, I do fill up the bottoms of the cups (...) (18 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

(...) Ah, yes. The Palisades Center PAB had them as well. I filled the base of one of my cups with them. Jonathan (18 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) The Portland store also has the dark red 1x4 tiles, I've been a frequent customer and am just finishing up a MOC with 98% PaB ((URL) - this'll likely go into a display case at the store for a few weeks once it's done). The local store has had (...) (18 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Looks great Kelly. I'm working on a building using the same design (dark red tiles out) since I was lucky enough to be able to split a case of these tiles with a friend. BTW- It is usually cheaper if you buy a case, the stores in Chicago sell (...) (18 years ago, 20-Feb-07, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

(...) Cool, I'm looking forward to seeing it. (...) Yeah, the Portland store does that sometimes too. But I didn't think to ask, and the real reason: it's much easier to sell my wife the concept of one or two PaB cups at a time rather than a (...)         Re: Dark red 2x2 bricks in PAB —Jeramy Spurgeon
(...) I think it's a K3 (small size), but will have to check when I get home. The stores in Chicago have been doing this for at least a year and a half now, but I'm not sure when it started, since it's usually a 4 hour drive for me to get up there. (...)
