So did I. If you think that's bad, look at how Houston fared on the list.
All 8 Houston K-Mart stores (I believe that's all of them, there may be 1 or
2 others) are closing, and various ones in small towns within 50 miles, like
Katy. Looks like the 4th largest city is happy with Target and Walmart (born
and raised a Target shopper, due to my mother).

Of note is the closing of the Super-K in Valdosta GA for the 2nd time ! This store was (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)
