Re: FOTW: RIS Expansion Kits at CompUSA, $9.88 each

(...) I also checked at the Raleigh store right after it opened this morning and got the same story about the Mindstorm kits. I also called the Greensboro store and got the same $30 price but they only have the Extreme Creature set. I'm glad I got (...)   FOTW: RIS Expansion Kits at CompUSA, $9.88 each

Hi, Subject line says it all. I found that the nearby CompUSA dropped the price not one step but *two* today--making all three sorts of RIS expansion (Robo Sports, Mars, and Extreme Creatures) $9.88 each. Naturally, I bought all the Mars sets I (...) (23 years ago, 9-Nov-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Discontinued Shop at Home

I just found out yesterday that the Hinges and Couplings kit has been discountinued. Does anybody know if this is a permanent condition? What else has been axed? I suppose Brickbay is the only source now. sun (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I received in the mail (maybe some of you did too) a $15 off RIS 2.0 <set:3804> coupon. I'll send it to whoever in the US contacts me first. Expires 12/31/01. Ben Gatrelle (remove the spam dot from the yellowcastle to reply) (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: TRU exclusive Bionicle mask case

That is misleading. The main page describing the binder in the Big Book says "any Bionicle set purchase." The coupon itself, though, lists the Rahi sets you actually have to buy. (...) Eh. Miru goes in and out easier upside-down. Kakama sideways fits okay. Akaku and Matatu you just have to jam in there. The rest seem to fit okay. I do wish it had been 12 rows of 6 instead of the 11 rows though. (23 years ago, 8-Nov-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) It's been a while since I counted, calculated, and compared pricing ($6.99 per 1/4 lb?), but I remember it being similar to S@H (thus, I bought what I bought).
