  I'm grumpy

I have become frustrated with TRU but perhaps my frustration lies witth LEGO instead. Here's why: I ordered adult dinosaurs from S@H as soon as they became available, about two months ago. I did not buy the T-Rex because I wanted to wait and take a (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Went to LLC on 7/15

Okay, so I answered my own question eventually... Nothing major deal-wise going on at this time. Rock Raiders stuff is set for clearance at 30% off (nice chrome pieces, but good riddance imho). The park was DRASTICALLY more empty than when we went (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Prices?

Of course, you get the ugly red plate when you buy separately. These are fine for some applications, but if you could choose... would you ever actually *want* red plates? On the other hand, the "Open Freight Wagon" is $17 and comes with a bunch of (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Prices?

(...) Yep... plus the red plate isn't warped! (at one point every single black wagon plate seemed to be warped per reports). ++Lar (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Prices?

I just went to S@H to check prices (I'm an Australian masochist), and noticed the following: #3737 wagon base kit $15 (rounding to nearest $) #5309 $3 #5304 $3 (need 2) #5303 $2 #5302 $3 So with the slight difference that its a red base & you need (...)   Re: (Canada) S@H Catalogues and Windsor Lego Store

I'm sorry to bring up bad feelings for you.....I just wanted to mention the fact that I had visited the store.... you could always move here to Niagara Falls and open one up here. Like I said, we don't have one here, and it would probably have a big (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: (Canada) S@H Catalogues and Windsor Lego Store

(...) Oh great, you just *had* to go ahead and mention the LEGO store in Windsor, didn't you? I had forgotten all about it, but now I'm bitter again because I didn't open the store first :[ KDJ ___...___ LUGNETer #203, Windsor, Ontario, Canada (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Goin' to LL on 7/15, Any Deals?

Hey, Has anyone been to LL recently enough to let me know what specials are going on there? Back in December when I went, they had the 6497 Twisted Time Train on sale for US$4.99, so I bought 8 of them. Anything I should look out for this time? - (...)
