  Re: No more Blue Tub...

(...) This has been my fear ever since bulk ordering came about. I will hold out hope that maybe the person you communicated with was mistaken but if this is true then my LEGO budget has been shattered and won't be making nearly as many S@H (...)   Re: No more Blue Tub...

(...) Discontinued? These tubs have only just made it to Australia within the last couple of months. Maybe they are using us as a dumping ground for old Lego. This may not be such a bad thing if they send us some good stuff! Martin (23 years ago, 10-Apr-01, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  No more Blue Tub...

I asked LEGO netherlands why the blue tub (3033) isn't available overhere. In their reply they said set no. 3033 has been discontinued..... This might explain the recent TRU sale.... Duq (23 years ago, 10-Apr-01, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: KMart BOGO 50% off

(...) I have definetely noticed this about my local K-Mart. In fact the local one doesn't carry any sets over $40. Yet the next two closest K-Marts do carry good sets, and a semi-decent collection of stuff. My local one hasn't had blue buckets in at (...) (23 years ago, 10-Apr-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: ames bogo 50% off

My brother checked out one of the local Ames stores today, and noticed that they had a sign up explaining the sale. It's apparently not like the normal buy one, get one 1/2 price sale, but rather a "Buy 2 get the second one half price" sale. The (...)   Re: KMart BOGO 50% off

My Kmarts were decently stocked, for a kmart. I got some of the Star Wars Tie Fighters and Droid Escapes. They seemed to have the LOM sets as well. Of course, being kmart, they didn't have a whole lot of anything that they had. I had to go to 2 (...) (23 years ago, 10-Apr-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: KMart BOGO 50% off

According to the signs at one of my local TRUs, the Alpha Team sets are "Only available at Toys-R-Us". I believe they will remain so until the end of April, when TRUs "Lego Month" is over. Troy (...) had all (...) some (...) the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Apr-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: KMart BOGO 50% off

(...) I was pretty happy with the selection at the K-Marts near my home. They had all the new Star Wars sets and most of the LoM sets. The best deal was the LoM Value Pack for $5.99 (regular price). I was also able to pick up some blue tubs. As for (...) (23 years ago, 10-Apr-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: KMart BOGO 50% off

Thanks for the heads up, Troy! I meant to post this myself as of late Saturday night, but I was so disappointed with the offerings at my local K-mart I guess I forgot to do so.
