Re: Are there online scans available??

(...) Currently, no. However, all you should need is the set numbers and the phone number, which is available in the weekly S@H Phone Specials posts, by Tom Stangl. Jeff (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: 6600 Highway Construction on clearance

(...) It is pretty amazing that even at 1/2 price there haven't been many reports of AFOLs using this for much of anything. Too bad, for about the same tooling cost, TLC could have made a much better inclined roadway system. For one thing, not (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.town)

  Are there online scans available??

Hi, are there online scans available? I have no access to the catalog (Germany..), but would like to order via a friend... I did not find a scan on brickshelf and would be pleased if someone would point me to the right direction.. Arnold Jeff (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: 6600 Highway Construction on clearance

Today I noticed Bridge To Nowhere is down to $39.90 at my Target. It sort of grasped out for me, but I walked away thinking: what a piece of crud. Besides, I've made my own road ramps now out of baseplates. It was inspiring at first, but still not (...)   Re: Summer Shop at Home Catalog just arrived!!

(...) I haven't memorized every set number, so I looked them all up. Castle 4806 Axe Cart- a decent set, but availible in stores. 4811 Defense Archer- I think this is sold in stores too. 6026 King Leo- IMO, an undesirable set, also sold in stores. (...)   Re: Summer Shop at Home Catalog just arrived!!

(...) Well, since I originally thought it was the same size as the Indy Storm, I couldn't understand why it would cost so much more, unless there was something special about it, like motorized or something. But now that I understand that it really (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Summer Shop at Home Catalog just arrived!!

(...) Yeah, but that wasn't a general announcement about it arriving. Most people prolly missed it. ;) And I would've posted hours earlier, if my mother had told me it came... ;) Jeff P.S. I had only checked for new threads about it, anyway... (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Summer Shop at Home Catalog just arrived!!

(...) Hehe... :-) Well I always like to see the new sets... of course the summer catalog is usually less interesting than the winter one, now *that's* something to get excited over. And most (most, not all) of the new sets for the summer have been (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) I think it means not available in any set. (...) SWEET!! The theme, if I'm correct, is TECHNIC.   My first FOTW...

O.K., I'm a piker by the standards of many of you here, but I just wanted to share. Also, I learned an important lesson about buying opened boxes... I found five 6599 sets at a San Jose, California K-Mart. The stickers showed that they had been (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) It is the same scale. I think it would come to $22.49... The increased price reflects the fact that they lost money when they only shipped a few small item. The consumer will save money by ordering multiple items. :D Jeff (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  FOTW - $17.50 Gungan Sub

To All, I was in Meijer's today, looking for a few sets when I came accross this open 7151 Gungan Sub, in the middle aisle, apart from the usual LEGO place. There were several marked down Episode 1 toys, and I looked at the set closely, and saw it (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
