Re: Found Discounted 5978; and Clearance Question

(...) Yep, I also had a problem. I got the 2 smaller sets I ordered, but the big train set (4561?) didn't come (it got cancelled like everyone else's). People here are pretty good about announcing on-line sales, though it is also the case that (...) (25 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  FOTW: Adventurers and Ninjaz

I just got back from Fred Meyer. They reduced a bunch of Lego sets from retail to about 66% off or more in a matter of days. Usually there is a long drawn out process, but not this time.   Re: 8880 (possibly still) available from Potomac Mills Outlet

When I talked to one of the employees there (Buffie was not there today), she specifically said they CAN ship sets that S@H does not carry. All I asked was "can you ship them?", not "can you ship them, because I heard you can if S@H doesn't carry (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: 8880 (possibly still) available from Potomac Mills Outlet

...I called the store and they said they are not sure if they are actually getting the 8880s and if they do get them they already have enough names that if they go one per customer they will be all gone. So I guess our calls are useless now. (and (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Hi Legofans, At the end of this week and for the last time, he may add some sets 8425 and 6289 on DYA website again.   8880 (possibly still) available from Potomac Mills Outlet

I stopped by the outlet this weekend and chatted with Buffie a bit. She let me know that she has around 50 8880's on the way, but only about 10 of them were UN-claimed at that time.
