I found one today at Target for $50! Also got 4 DDKs for $25 each. I cleaned out every target in the area (4 of them) except for the one that had 6 DDKs at %59.90. Doh! I was there this morning but instead ran to all the Targets first. They sold 32 this morning! At least I got the last 7 they had. Why would they have a clearance sale and then not have the stock to be cleared out? I don't know how much they pay TLC for the sets, but I doubt its much less than $50-60. You MAY have gotten it for that much from WBStore. I ordered a bunch right after they went on sale, and called today to confirm shipment, and was told EVERYTHING from both of my orders is on backorder until Feb 18! The ones in the South Bay are totally inconsistent. I just called several, and they haven't marked them down further, even though they are in the same region. It would be nice if Target was consistant. The two near me work in two different worlds. A couple of weeks ago, one had things at 40% while the other was at 75% off. Neither have marked down the Tie Fighters or Y-Wings. It doesn't matter that they (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

My local Target (San Leandro, CA) had the last round of markdowns (75%!) for the 4561 Railway Express ($32.44), RIS and Tie Fighter and Y-Wing. A coworker call the Sacramento, CA store, and they were taking 25% off the $75 sale price, making them $56.25 each! I called the Huntington Valley, PA, and they took 30% off the $75, for $52.50 each! When someone said Walmart was discounting items on their web site I guessed this might be also a hint that they were further reduce items at my local WalMart store.
