Re: high-end restraint at WM ?

(...) I did look at both. Thats what prompted the question. I suspect that WM may be tailoring the stocking (at the high end) based on which stores could the sell the stuff and which could not. I wondered when they would figure this out. (21 years ago, 23-Aug-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: high-end restraint at WM ?

(...) I saw the $50 Hailfire Droid shortly before the reset, but they haven't actually stocked anything new since moving the LEGO section around. If you want to know what to expect, either look at the shelf tags or the stock planning sheets. (21 years ago, 23-Aug-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: high-end restraint at WM ?

My local WM just reset their shelves and they had the AT-TE's. I'm not sure if they had the AT-AT or not - I wasn't specifically looking for that set. Their website has both the AT-TE and AT-AT.   high-end restraint at WM ?

Has anyone observed any of the newer sets from the higher end of the price range (above $50) being stocked into the new shelf resets at WM ? For the past several years, WM has always had at least one LEGO set in the $90-$100 price range. I'm not (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I think what Troy was saying is that there is already plenty of competition for LEGO S@H here in the US with retailers serving the consumer via online and through stores. While I'd welcome a store here in the US that specialized in Lego AND sold (...) (21 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Only S@H in the US...

Hello Troy, I should have been more complete with my description. I was looking at LEGO-only stores. Here in Melbourne, Australia we have 3 specialist stores ( online and physical ) that deal with just LEGO... Regards, Michael Golaszewski (...) (21 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Only S@H in the US...

Michael, There are MANY sources for LEGO online in the US. Most of the major retailers have online stores as well (Walmart, Target, KMart, etc.) as well as the major toy stores (KayBee, Toys-R-US/Amazon, Zany Brainy, etc.). This doesn't even take (...)   Only S@H in the US...

  Strange Walmart find - 7470 for $28.74

<set:7470> I found one of these in a local Walmart that was clearly re-zoning its Lego products shelving layout. Why an almost brand new set was on clearance escapes me, but what a bargain. Keep your eyes peeled! (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)
