Hi folks. Here's the full scoop...very likely a non-reproucable event. I found them at Sam's Club (in PERFECT condition), unmarked and unsigned...probably a return...and obviously considered a seasonal item based on the markdown. Happy hunting to (...)   FOTD: 4730 for $20!

Hi all, At my folks' local WalMart (Knoxville, IA) today - they were having a "lunch hour special" in the toy dept. Everything that was clearance marked was half off it's tag price. So I grabbed a cart and rushed over. :-) I managed to snag a (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Walmart Clearances

I went to two of my local walmarts today and both seemed to have gone to the next level of clearance (approx. 50%). Of interest to me were Troll on the Loose for $5 and the 7200/7201/7203/7204 series of Star Wars sets for $3. At one store the (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Zany Brainy deals

First saw these online, then stopped in and saw the same deals at my local store (check for a clearance section separate from the usual Lego shelves-- at my store, the clearance Lego was all the way on the other side of the store). Monsters -- all (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Finally my Target hits 75% off

Last week, I found 3804 Mindstorms Inventions 2.0 at Target in Clearance aisle.. It was 50% percent. ($99.00) I manage to hide in LEGO asile and put behind Harry Potter Castle in bottom. Nobody will take Harry Potter Castle for while. Till drop 75% (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Finally my Target hits 75% off

(...) It's getting harder and harder to find sale stuff anymore. I guess the eBay experience has turned a lot of people into sale buzzards. It may also be that the uncertain economy had a few people trying to save some money off the clearance sales (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Finally my Target hits 75% off

You know there was a time, not too long ago when I could reasonably expect to buy about $3-5,000 in clearance Lego from Target without much effort. It's impossible to do that these days, I'm guessing because of increased awareness of the clearance. (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

I'm in the Atlanta area. Cleared out Gainesville and Cumming, and checked Alpharetta to discover it cleared out. (...) Chino Hills/Diamond Bar. It looked like a lot of stuff was going to be around for the 75% off, but this last weekend I'd say about half the Lego stock went at the 50% mark.
